justtrack MCP capabilities and use cases

Use the justtrack Model Context Protocol (MCP) server to explore marketing performance in natural language from your connected AI client. You can review acquisition, profitability, retention, and spend, then ask follow-up questions without exporting each report by hand.

To connect your client and sign in, follow Connect your AI client. This guide explains what to ask once you are connected.

Start with the right account

  1. Ask: “Use justtrack to list the accounts I can access.”
  2. Choose the account you want to analyze. If you can access several accounts, name the one to use before asking for results. Confirm the account again when you start a new conversation or switch accounts.
  3. Start with a focused question: “For [account], show installs, spend, CPI, and ROAS for the last 7 complete days.”

Capabilities

Describe the business question in your own words. Your AI client selects the relevant methods.

Analyze your data

Performance digest

What it covers: Acquisition overview: installs, spend, cost per install (CPI), and return on advertising spend (ROAS), by partner, country, or campaign.

Example prompt: “For [app] in [account], compare installs, spend, CPI, and ROAS for the last two complete months by partner. Highlight the largest changes.”

Use case and notes: Weekly reviews, month-end reporting, and channel investigations.

Profitability report

What it covers: Ad and in-app purchase (IAP) revenue, spend, gross and net profit, and margins in one view.

Example prompt: “For [app], show last quarter’s ad and IAP revenue, spend, gross and net profit, and margins by partner. Flag negative net profit.”

Use case and notes: Channel economics and budget discussions. Use justtrack’s returned profit metrics and definitions, not a substitute net-profit calculation.

Retention report

What it covers: Install-date cohorts at D1, D3, D7, D14, and D30, scoped by app, partner, campaign, or country.

Example prompt: “For [app], show D1, D7 and D30 retention for [install date range] by partner. Flag cohorts too recent for D30.”

Use case and notes: User quality and retention alongside performance changes. Compare same-age cohorts; missing later-day values are not zero.

Spend pacing

What it covers: Daily or weekly spend, ad spend, and payouts for cost trends and budget comparisons.

Example prompt: “For [app], show daily ad spend this month through yesterday. Flag days above my [amount and currency] daily budget.”

Use case and notes: On-demand budget checks and spend-spike investigations. Supply the budget and currency unless returned explicitly.

Custom acquisition report

What it covers: Flexible metrics, dimensions and date ranges beyond standard reports. Check the account’s measurement list for available fields.

Example prompt: “List this account’s metrics and dimensions. Show installs, spend, CPI, and ROAS for [app] in [date range], by country and campaign if supported.”

Use case and notes: Specific markets, campaigns or reporting cuts. For unavailable fields or combinations, explain the limit and suggest a supported view.
