Connect your AI client to justtrack

Table of contents

The justtrack Model Context Protocol (MCP) server connects your AI client straight to justtrack over MCP, so you ask for marketing performance data in plain language instead of exporting reports by hand.

Setup follows the same three steps everywhere: install, sign in, ask a question.

Once you are connected, see justtrack MCP capabilities and use cases for reporting workflows, example prompts, account discovery, and current limits.

Before you start

Make sure the following requirements are covered:

  • A justtrack account with access to the data you want. The agent inherits your permissions — it cannot see anything you cannot see yourself.

  • One supported client: ChatGPT web or desktop, Claude web or desktop, Claude Code, Codex, or OpenCode.

  • A browser — sign-in happens on an OAuth page that opens outside the client.

Connect ChatGPT/Codex

Adding and using custom MCP servers and plugins depends on workspace settings and your role permissions. If an option or the justtrack plugin is unavailable, ask your workspace admin to enable the required access. Each user must still authenticate their justtrack account. See OpenAI plugin controls.

Add justtrack marketplace in ChatGPT

Copy this prompt into your ChatGPT agent and send it. The agent carries out the setup with the tools available to it and prompts you when your input is needed.

Add the justtrack marketplace from https://github.com/justtrackio/agents-marketplace (source: justtrackio/agents-marketplace, branch: main) to my ChatGPT environment and install the justtrack plugin from it.

Read the repository's current installation instructions and carry out the setup using the tools available in this session. Reuse an existing marketplace or plugin installation if present. Connect the plugin to https://mcp.justtrack.io/mcp and let me complete justtrack OAuth sign-in in the browser when required.

After installation, verify the connection by calling justtrack to list the Accounts I can access, then ask which account I want to use. If a new session, a permission, or a manual action is required, tell me exactly what is needed and continue once I have completed it. Report success only after verification.

For setup through the user interface, see OpenAI’s official guide to browsing and installing plugins in ChatGPT and Codex. Workspace admins can follow Import and sync a marketplace through the admin interface.

Install justtrack marketplace in Codex CLI

With Codex CLI installed, run these commands in your terminal to add the marketplace and install the justtrack plugin:

codex plugin marketplace add justtrackio/agents-marketplace
codex plugin add justtrack@justtrack

Start a new session with codex after installation. Complete justtrack OAuth sign-in in the browser when prompted. Then ask: Use justtrack to list the Accounts I can access. Tell the assistant which account to use.

See the official Codex CLI command reference for plugin and marketplace commands.

Connect Claude

Marketplace availability depends on your plan and organization policy. For Team and Enterprise administration, see Anthropic’s official guide to managing plugins and marketplaces. Each user authenticates with their own justtrack account.

Add justtrack marketplace in Claude

Copy this prompt into your Claude agent and send it. The agent carries out the setup with the tools available to it and prompts you when your input is needed.

Add the justtrack marketplace from https://github.com/justtrackio/agents-marketplace (source: justtrackio/agents-marketplace, branch: main) to my Claude environment and install the justtrack plugin from it.

For setup through the user interface, see Anthropic’s official guide: Use plugins in Claude — Add or remove plugin marketplaces. For Claude Code, see Install and manage plugins.

Install justtrack marketplace in Claude Code

With Claude Code installed, run these commands in your terminal to add the marketplace and install the justtrack plugin:

claude plugin marketplace add justtrackio/agents-marketplace
claude plugin install justtrack@justtrack

Start Claude Code after installation and complete justtrack OAuth sign-in when required. See the official Claude Code MCP documentation for authentication and connection management. Then ask: Use justtrack to list the Accounts I can access. Tell the assistant which account to use.

See the official Claude Code documentation for adding marketplaces and installing plugins.

Custom MCP integration for other AI clients

Connect any MCP client that supports remote Streamable HTTP and browser-based OAuth to justtrack. Use the common settings below, then follow your client's configuration instructions. This creates a direct MCP connection; no justtrack marketplace plugin or local MCP server installation is required.

Connection settings

SettingValue
Server namejusttrack
MCP server URLhttps://mcp.justtrack.io/mcp
Connection / transportRemote server, Streamable HTTP; choose http where the client asks for a transport.
AuthenticationOAuth: sign in with your justtrack account in the browser and approve access. Let the client discover the server's authentication settings.

Install and sign in to your chosen AI client first. When editing a configuration file, merge the justtrack entry into the existing server object and preserve other settings.

Set up your client

Google Antigravity

See the official documentation: MCP configuration and authentication in Antigravity. Use the justtrack connection settings above.

Cursor AI

See the official documentation: Model Context Protocol (MCP) in Cursor. Use the justtrack connection settings above.

OpenCode

See the official documentation: Remote MCP servers and OAuth in OpenCode. Use the justtrack connection settings above.

Gemini CLI

See the official documentation: MCP servers with Gemini CLI. Use the justtrack connection settings above.

GitHub Copilot CLI

See the official documentation: Adding MCP servers for GitHub Copilot CLI. Use the justtrack connection settings above.

VS Code (GitHub Copilot)

See the official documentation: Add MCP servers in VS Code. Use the justtrack connection settings above.

Verify and troubleshoot

A connection is verified when the agent calls a justtrack tool and returns the accounts you can access. A saved server entry alone is not a completed connection. Select the required account after the response, especially if more than one account is available.

  • Server missing: Check the configuration path, JSON wrapper, selected workspace or harness, and whether justtrack is enabled. Reload the client or start a new session.
  • Sign-in required or 401: Repeat the client's justtrack OAuth authentication. Signing in to the AI client does not automatically authorize justtrack.
  • 403 or missing accounts: Check the justtrack identity used for sign-in and that account's permissions.
  • Connection blocked: Check organization MCP policies, proxy or firewall access to the endpoint, and the browser OAuth flow. If a client unexpectedly requires fixed OAuth credentials, do not invent values; consult its current documentation and your justtrack contact.

Client documentation links checked on October 23, 2026. Follow the linked documentation for current setup instructions; verify the justtrack connection with a successful account-list tool call.
