Quickstart: Promote your app
In this learning path, we'll guide you through the most important steps of setting up tracking and attribution in justtrack.
Along the way, you'll use several different user guides to accomplish your goals. Each opens in a new tab so you can quickly return to this path to get to the next step.
Before you begin
For the App manager tasks, you'll need to be an admin or manager for your organization. If you're not one already, you'll need another admin to change your role.

Tracking and attribution in justtrack
Add your app to the justtrack platform:
Now that you've set up your app in justtrack, you need to integrate the justtrack SDK.
Choose the platform(s) most relevant to you, and complete the setup guide:
Next, you need to connect your app to at least one advertising partner. We support two types of ad partners:
- Integrated partners are those for which justtrack has an official integration. You can see a full list of integrated partners and the features they support here.
- Custom partners are those for which justtrack has done no manual work.
Choose the most appropriate guide for your needs:
Every app in justtrack automatically includes an "Install" goal. And every connected ad partner automatically includes a postback for that goal. However, if you want to track other events, you first need to create a new goal:
Then, create a new postback for that goal:
With these same instructions, you can also configure non-attributed postbacks if you want the ad partner to know about user behaviors that aren't attributed to that partner.
Next, you can optionally configure any other settings for your ad partner:
When you create a new campaign, you'll want to use a test device to test your campaign and make sure the partner correctly receives the attribution from justtrack. Therefore, you need to whitelist your test device to make sure justtrack will attribute this device on every install or cache clear:
Then, when you create the campaign, you usually need to include click and view tracking URLs from justtrack:
Now, you're ready to create an ad campaign with the partner. You'll include the tracking URL in the campaign so we receive click and view data when users interact with the ads. Then, when we receive an install event, we send a postback to the partner, attributing the install to them.
If you created another goal earlier and assigned it to a postback, we send these postbacks as well, when the goal is triggered.
You can view and analyze this data in the justtrack dashboard, but that's out of the scope of this learning path. You can learn more about analyzing data here.
